How To Pause Your Subscription Until Next Pool Season (and save BIG!)

As pool season comes to a close, you likely won't need your regular deliveries of Simple Scoop until next year. The good news? Once you've received enough Simple Scoop for the season, you can easily reschedule your next subscription order in your account for the beginning of pool season. The biggest reason to do this is because you will lock in your current prices! Any increases in price on our website will not apply to your subscription! This is the biggest perk of subscribing with us-- besides the convenience. 

Here’s a quick step-by-step guide to help you pause your subscription until you’re ready to dive back in next year.

 

Step 1: Sign into your Account

Head to the account login page and sign in with your email and password or sign in password-free by having a one-time code sent to your email/phone.

 

Step 2: Reschedule your next order

Once signed in, you’ll see your next scheduled order. This shows the date your next delivery is set to ship. Click on Reschedule under your order details.

 

Step 3: Choose a date option

After clicking Reschedule, select Choose a specific date and select a date in 2026 that is about a week or so before you might open your pool. 

 

Step 4: Save your changes

Click Save changes, and you’re all set! You'll now see your next order for the date you selected. You'll receive an email from us a few days before we process this next order, so you'll get a reminder in case you need to make any last minute changes. 

 

Step 5: Need to make any updates?

If you would like to change the frequency you receive products next year or the amount of product you receive, click Manage this subscription. For example, here you can select 25lb instead of 10lb and update the frequency to 8 weeks instead of 4 weeks. 

 

Why pause instead of cancel?

By pausing instead of canceling, you’ll:

  • Keep your subscription price locked in! Every year we must increase prices to cover increased cost of materials, but as a subscriber you're protected from that!

  • Pick up exactly where you left off when pool season starts and have product when you are ready to open for the season.

  • It also helps us plan so that we have all the product we need when pool season 2026 rolls around.
