"Pool Day has a bag of 100% Sodium Carbonate that increases the PH between a healthy 7.2 to 7.8 level. This Booster comes in a 10 pound bag for convenience and can be used in both Pools and Spas. I love that it is made in the USA and the easy to read dosing chart and the bag has a QR Code for video instructions if you need them. When you PH value is correct it helps to protect your expensive pool equipment and make it last longer. In addition it also can work to get rid of nasty eye and skin irritation, plus it is delivered directly to your home so you don’t have to put it in your cart at a store, then take it out at the car and again when you get home!"
Does not show ingredients on the bag
"I get that the ad says Sodium Carbonate but I have never seen a chemical that does not list the ingredients on the bag. You have no way to know the concentration of the active ingredients. There is no SDS information or where to get it. Sodium Carbonate is a recognized pool product for increasing pool pH. This is a 10lb bag and big enough to increase the pH of a large pool if it is not too low which would be very unsafe for swimmers. I have not tried this yet since I don’t know the concentration of this Sodium Carbonate. I have requested the SDS sheet from the company so I will update this once I have received it."

"This 10 pounds of Pool Day PH booster is a pretty good value for the price. I’m using it in my 220 gallon hot tub which was registering 6.7 on my digital PH meter. The recommendation chart is based on a 10,000 gallon pool so it took some calculations to figure out how much booster to add. I added it slowly and let it run as suggested before adding more. It ended up taking a little over a half pound to bring the PH from 6.7 up to 7.2. Half a pound surprised me and is a considerable amount of PH booster for the small size of my tub. I owned an in ground pool for over thirty years and I know how critical it is to have the PH properly balanced. Overall I happy with this Pool Day PH Booster and I feel it’s a fair price."

"Sadly, by the time I received this pool chemical, we had already shut down our pool for the season. However, from what I can determine from viewing and smelling (carefully) the product, it seems as good as any we've previously used. Like another reviewer posted, there was no explanation of potency printed anywhere on the package. We can assume it's the same as most other brands, but we will want to know for sure before employing in our pool next spring. Hopefully the manufacturer will make those details known soon. Great value for the price if it works correctly."

"This works great! The instructions on the package are clear and offer good guidance. The bag is thick and has a sealing zipper on the top, so it's easy to store and doesn't pop open when it shouldn't. I needed to raise the PH in my 10,000 gallon pool by 10 PPM, so I followed the instructions and put this in the pool. I retested after 2 hours (as the instructions suggested) and the PH was back within a perfect range, so I know this stuff works!"
